Obviously you want to keep your jewellery looking as sparkling as the day you purchased it, so the answer is often! The best way to do this is with your Jeweller. We hand polish and ultrasonic clean each piece, followed by a full safety inspection checking for any wear, loose diamonds or gems, catches on chains and bracelets, tighten earring fittings and a general inspection of the piece. This is a complimentary service for the lifetime of any piece of jewellery purchased from us.
If you can’t make it into our shop, the best method at home is often warm soapy water and a light scrub with an old toothbrush to remove dirt and grime followed by a rinse and dry. Alternatively we stock a range of jewellery cleaning baths for home use.
